Seeking individual with energy, drive, and interest in the performing arts, visual arts, or film making. Mold, shape and implement an exciting new mobile program in Maynard area with a focus on the Maynard Fine Arts Theatre and TILL Farms. We provide meaningful and productive activities to support engagement and skill acquisition. TILL On the Go offers employment, apprenticeship, or just a great way to spend the day, build on skills for independence, have new experiences, and expand social connections with peers. The primary responsibility of this position is to operate a quality mobile day program which includes coordinating administrative, staffing, all aspects of programmatic operations, and implementation of individual support plans.
Essential Job Functions:
- Meet with each individual referred to develop an individual TILL plan with transportation, activities, and education.
- Manage enrollment of FT and PT individuals to maintain capacity.
- Coordinate a mobile program with a focus on the Maynard Fine Arts Theatre, TILL Farms, and many other community locations.
- At Maynard Fine Arts proactively plan, organize, and facilitate daily program teaching all aspect of operations of the Theatre, an onsite Creamery, concessions, cleaning and maintenance, customer services and general work habits.
- At TILL Farms and other locations plan training engagement with site specific learning experiences.
- Oversee van service and supervise transportation including van routes.
- Supervise TILL Assistants, consulting instructors, drivers, and volunteers. Plan schedules, and assign all staff to meet needs of participants. Ensure required levels of support.
- Supervise administrative and participant records.
- Participate in required social services and state licensing training; follow all policies and procedures to ensure a safe and supportive environment at all times.
- Develop and sustain positive relationships with individuals, families, residential staff, funding agency representatives, and community contacts.
- Serve as an advocate for all individuals enrolled and seek opportunities to help each individual develop talent, learn new skills, and flourish.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work collaboratively as a part of a team environment; strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience in the social services or disability community highly preferred.
- Experience in performing arts, visual arts, film making or other creative background helpful.
- Minimum High School diploma with three years’ experience in a position with progressive responsibilities in areas of administration, and supervision.
- AS/BA/BS in Human Service or related field helpful.
- Must have the ability to develop and write objectives, possess good English, written and oral communication skills, have the ability to develop teaching strategies and train staff. CPR and First Aid certifications are a condition of employment (Training is provided). Driver’s license and vehicle required.
